Ashley’s practice focuses on litigation law, personal injury law, and medical malpractice.
BIO:
Ashley is a partner at Stewart, Esten LLP and was called to the bar in 2007. She practices exclusively in the areas of family law, civil litigation and appeals. Ashley represents and assists clients on a wide range of family law matters such as property division, parenting and access, child support, spousal support, cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, and separation agreements. Ashley is also frequently retained to represent clients in a broad range of civil litigation disputes and is able to provide advice and representation in both civil and family law appeals.
A highly skilled advocate, Ashley regularly and successfully appears before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Divisional Court and Ontario Court of Appeal, as well as at mediations and arbitrations. Ashley has presented at several Continuing Legal Education conferences and co-authored the Syrtash Family Law Netletter for Lexis Nexus for several years.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys travelling and competing throughout Canada and the United States in equestrian show-jumping, and volunteering for several non-profit organizations in the Barrie community.
