Christopher’s practice focuses on litigation law, corporate-commercial litigation, wrongful dismissal/employment law,creditor and security enforcement including mortgage enforcement, & estate law.
Christopher joined Stewart Esten in 2018.
Christopher is a determined advocate who represents his clients in the areas of corporate-commercial litigation, wrongful dismissal/employment law, creditor and security enforcement including mortgage enforcement, estate litigation, all manners of real property disputes including claims for breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation, Partition Act applications, boundary disputes and regulatory offences defence including Occupational Health and Safety Act charges.
Christopher specializes in complicated disputes which require urgent legal action. Christopher has successfully obtained interim and interlocutory injunctions on short or no notice in actions involving fraud (Mareva injunctions), unlawful corporate-commercial practices, breach of contract and non-competition clauses, elder abuse, trademark infringement and constructive trust claims.
Christopher has developed a talent for quickly identifying the core legal issues in a dispute and he approaches every file in a practical and straightforward manner which allows him to obtain positive and cost-effective results for his clients.
Christopher actively represents his clients at all levels of Ontario Courts.
When not practicing law, Christopher is a proud and doting father of two young daughters and spends his free time enjoying all things involved with being a dad. In his former life, Christopher was a world traveller, avid scuba diver and garage-band musician.
