Andrew K. Zyp
Andrew’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, estate planning and administration and real estate.
Andrew’s corporate/commercial practice includes acting on share and asset purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations, drafting shareholder agreements, commercial leases, agency agreements, distribution agreements, master services contracts and licensing agreements. Andrew also has experience in franchise law, employment law, and charity law. Early in Andrew’s career, his practice focused on tax and estate planning and consequently, he has a strong practice in this area as well. Andrew is a former business owner and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, both of which help him to serve his business clients better.
Andrew believes strongly in community service and has coached amateur teams and volunteered with many community based organizations and charities. Currently, Andrew is a member of the Board of Directors of the New Path Foundation and a past member of the Board of Directors of the MacLaren Art Centre where he still volunteers. His wife Krista is a proud Rotarian and they have two children, Chloe (’08) and Marco (’09). When not in the office, Andrew is usually found with his kids or tending to his vegetable garden. In the spring Andrew likes to make maple syrup, which has become a family tradition.
